"Nestled behind the Sandia Mountain Range, Tijeras is the greenest and coolest area twenty miles east of Albuquerque, NM. It is bone chilling cold in the winter, but glorious in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Cajotes howl at night and birds sing all day long outside my studio, from where I see the most magnificent sunsets falling over the Cibola Mountains almost every night. This is truly an enchanted place"
